Visit Kudat!!

Kudat is located in the upper sector of Sabah, and famously known for the Tip of Borneo, and cheap seafood

How to reach there

  1. By Bus and private transport


 they are cheap to reach there via Padang Merdeka bus station (Kota Kinabalu) and most of them
could not speak proper english if you are a foreigner just tell them to go to Kudat or by the hotels that you book

be best that you ask the counter for more info.






2. By rent a car or van


















before you reach Kudat you will pass Kota Belud bypass road with the view of Mount Kinabalu
                 
















































when you arrived to Kudat you will see a gate to Kudat























By air using Mas wing will be much faster as they will used a small aircraft

The tamu (market) in Kudat is a great opportunity to discover local produce and unique handicrafts. The tamu is a flurry of sights, sounds and smells, bustling with traders and buyers hoping to get a good bargain! In Kudat, the tamu is known for its local-grown vegetables, dried fish, tropical fruits and edible seaweed.
Be sure to check out the Rungus handicraft, particularly their intricate beaded work and handwoven Tinohian cloth. When in Kudat, make a trip to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau , The Tip of Borneo. This is the meeting point of the South China and Sulu seas, with a rich historical and cultural background. The dramatic vista of the endless sea and blue skies will take your breath away. 

Tanjung Simpang Mengayau 

is also known as the Northernmost tip of Borneo, is located in the district of Kudat, in the state of SabahMalaysia. The tip is the meeting point of Sulu and South China Sea.
A bronze globe marks the location of Tanjung Simpang Mengayau at latitude 7 degrees north and longitude 116 degrees east. A map featuring the island of Borneo is embossed in bronze and laid on a flat surface at an angle with inscriptions to mark the Tip of Borneo.
